Job Summary
Manage multiple accounting advisory engagements supporting capital markets transactions and complex accounting matters. Apply strong technical accounting knowledge to assess transaction impacts and financial reporting considerations. Coordinate engagement planning, execution, and delivery to meet client expectations and timelines. Review technical accounting analyses and client deliverables for accuracy and quality. Supervise and develop senior associates and supervisors across concurrent engagements. Collaborate with internal specialists and service lines to deliver integrated Deal Services Advisory support. Identify opportunities to improve engagement efficiency and enhance client value. Travel up to 25% depending on engagement needs, with increased workload during active deal phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 6–11 years of experience
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Strong U.S. GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
- Experience leading teams across multiple engagements
- Travel: Up to 25%, depending on engagement needs
- Peak Periods: Increased workload during active deal phases
- Licensure Progress: Active CPA maintenance
- Scheduling: Flexibility aligned to transaction timelines
- RSM does not intend to hire entry level candidates who will require sponsorship now OR in the future (i.e. F-1 visa holders)
- RSM will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records
