Capital Equipment Specialist/Area Sales Manager (Aesthetic Med Device) (New England)

Job Summary

Achieve sales quota results in the assigned New England territory by performing effective territory penetration coverage and account identification to drive sales and increase the customer base for Solta devices. Provide training presentations and demonstrations to customers on product application and use, while educating them regarding indications, contraindications, and safety. Support regional training workshops and tradeshows within the area, maintaining up-to-date account files and preparing sales contracts, quotes, and terms per company guidelines. Complete administrative responsibilities including quarterly business plans, weekly expense reports, and database updates. Maintain updated knowledge of the industry and competitive products, ensuring compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory guidelines. Forecast accurately and communicate consistently with leadership on all matters related to the territory. Travel 75% of the time to cover the territory, including overnight stays for training or corporate meetings, and transport up to 60 pounds of equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • experience selling capital equipment in the Aesthetics or Dermatology space
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with all levels of employees
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive communications and technical presentations to physicians, management and/or large groups
  • Ability to thoroughly understand and communicate the attributes and qualities of Solta products using professional selling and closing skills
  • Ability to use word processing and database applications and various software programs such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of FDA GMPs
  • Ability to function in a controlled environment regulated by FDA GMPs
  • Knowledge of clinical surgical techniques and procedures and medical terminology
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Skill in managing time effectively
  • Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed
  • Ability to travel adequately to cover territory including overnight stays, attend tradeshows and corporate and training meetings
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time and cover territory appropriately
  • Ability to transport up to 60 pounds of equipment within territory

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Ability to maintain suitable work station (including inventory) remotely
  • Technical acumen to use various software programs and various hardware such as a keyboard and mouse
