Job Summary
Capital Construction Project Manager at USC FPM responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of small to mid-sized university construction projects through all phases. Develop project objectives, work scope, project execution and construction management plans and procedures. Create project reports to inform stakeholders on time and cost status. Collaborate with design and construction professionals from various disciplines to ensure integrated construction processes. Monitor and control schedules to meet client time expectations. Interface with client and city officials to facilitate timely participation. Oversee project team members, consultants and contractors. Develop and manage budgets and schedules to deliver programmatic requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams in a university environment. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field, and project administration with progressive leadership/management within a college or university setting.
