Job Summary
Capital Associate responsible for constructing capital, liquidity, and stress models used to inform decisions and reporting to funders, the board, and regulators. Design the data infrastructure of the area to connect assets with funding sources, track covenants in real time, and automate balance health reporting. Develop simulation scenarios to evaluate balance sheet impact under rising defaults and runway projections; participate in regulatory preparation for SOFIPO (capital, provisions, liquidity) ahead of requirements; prepare analyses feeding ALCO management and institutional counterparties. Requires university degree in quantitative field, 2-4 years of quantitative experience, SQL and Python/R modeling skills, ability to build end-to-end financial models, proactive, detail-oriented, capable of leading projects, and strong collaboration with Treasury, FP&A, DCM, funders, and CFO. CFA tests and advanced English are a plus; comfort with challenging status quo and driving product automation and improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Universitary degree in civil engineering, commercial engineering or quantitative-focused fields
- 2-4 years of experience in quantitative roles (risk, ALM, capital markets, financial consulting, equity research or similar)
- SQL and Python/R for modeling and handling financial data
- Ability to build financial models from scratch, clean, documented, and auditable
- Builder mindset for a new area with many processes not yet established
- Strong communication skills to interact with Treasury, FP&A, DCM, international funders and CFO
- Experience in financial companies (banks, fintechs, factoring, asset managers) or financial areas is ideal for onboarding
