Job Summary
Review monthly capital spend, forecast quarterly capex and depreciation, and manage consolidation of assets from multiple ERP systems into a global register. Create capital trackers based on customer and program, review capital expenditure requests for appropriate treatment, and support financial close processes. Prepare fixed asset schedules for audits, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements, and analyze asset utilization trends. Develop reports on capital spending metrics and assist with property tax filings and physical asset verification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting and depreciation methodologies
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, lookups, and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
