Job Summary
Launch and build Cape Fear Auto Care from the ground up inside a state-of-the-art dealership facility; recruit, interview, and hire qualified automotive technicians; lead the technician team; oversee daily shop workflow, scheduling, repair orders, and productivity; communicate with customers throughout the repair process; prepare and explain service estimates and repair recommendations; ensure repairs are completed properly, efficiently, and to a high standard; maintain a clean, organized, dealership-level facility; work with ownership to grow the business and create a premium customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Automotive service, repair, or fixed operations experience
- Prior experience as a shop manager, service advisor, foreman, technician leader, or similar role
- Strong ability to recruit, lead, and motivate technicians
- Excellent customer communication and follow-up skills
- Understanding of repair estimates, labor times, parts, and shop workflow
- Professional, organized, and process-driven
- Comfortable working with all makes and models
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to help build a new business
- High standards for quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
