Capacity Planning Engineer

Job Summary
Lead capacity strategy across hybrid environments (on-prem Kubernetes, Azure, GCP) and collaborate with platform, search platform, and engineering teams to size capacity, forecast demand, and optimize allocation across compute, storage, and network resources. Design and develop dashboards and observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus) to provide actionable insights; conduct what-if and scenario modeling; perform root cause analysis of capacity incidents; drive efficiency and cost improvements; ensure alignment with business objectives and upcoming initiatives across data centers, supply chain, and network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
- 2 years work experience as a software engineer, cloud engineer or capacity planning Engineer
- Proven experience managing highly complex, technically challenging projects
- Strong engineering, scripting, and data analysis skills; self-sufficient data analyst and technologist
