Job Summary
The Capability Integration Engineer will provide specialized integration engineering services to support the SSN-AUKUS Program, focusing on the development and delivery of Nuclear-Powered Submarine (NPS) Capability Systems. Key responsibilities include leading capability integration analysis, maintaining capability requirements, engaging with the Australian Submarine Agency, and collaborating with defense offices. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, strong platform integration engineering experience, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering from an Australian institution, or a qualification gained elsewhere, that satisfies the requirements of the Washington Accord for recognition as a Professional Engineer
- Demonstrated long term practical knowledge of platform integration engineering
- Self driven with the ability to set milestones and work autonomously
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate where necessary
- V & V experience as well as certification requirements
