Job Summary

Provide recommendations on operational platforms and strategies tailored to specific mission needs while developing operational concepts and recommending technical and operational solutions. Identify opportunities to partner with U.S. and Joint Combatant Commands, address access and data gaps, and communicate associated risks. Serve as a subject matter expert supporting Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal processes. This role is based at a customer location in Fort Meade, Maryland, requiring 1880 hours of support annually. Candidates must possess TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline
  • At least 20 years of systems engineering experience
  • Master's degree or PhD (substitutable for two years of experience)
  • High school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience
  • Experience with RF engineering
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Familiarization with NSA infrastructure

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with requirements gathering, design synthesis, and system design
  • Experience producing enterprise level architectural artifacts such as: CONOPS, model based systems engineering, use-case diagrams and security-based compliance support
  • Proven ability to provide risk analysis, evaluate test results, if needed, identify and report health status of activities, to aid in ensuring the health and compatibility of enterprise and mission
  • Experience with systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents
