Job Summary
Canning Line Lead responsible for directing shift production on the beverage canning line, leading a small production team, and collaborating with the Supervisor/Manager to execute the schedule. Responsibilities include overseeing daily auditing and coaching, managing setup/changeovers for equipment (canning line, tanks/kettles) with experience in cartoner, filler/seamer, and tray packer changeovers, coordinating with the production supervisor/manager for call-outs and labor allocation, leading morning production alignment meetings, ensuring material readiness, product compliance and traceability with QC, maintaining cGMP standards, adhering to SOPs and Batch Production Records, completing training requirements, and maintaining safe, efficient work areas. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, problem-solving, and the ability to lift 40 lb, in a cGMP-regulated beverage environment at the Portland, OR site. Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience working on Beverage or Canning line
- At least 5 years of experience working in food or beverage production
- Experience working in cGMP regulated environments
- Strong organization skills
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot line equipment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify errors and/or inconsistencies while performing tasks
- Must be able to lift 40lb
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination abilities
- Ability to oversee setup, operation, product changeovers, and breakdown of equipment (Canning line, tanks/kettles)
