Job Summary
Hands-on Lab Manager leading cannabis processing operations (extraction, distillation, formulation) overseeing safety, quality, throughput, and compliance; develops SOPs, maintains batch records; leads and trains lab technicians; collaborates with QA, Cultivation, and Operations; requires degree in Chemistry/related field and 3+ years in extraction/manufacturing; proficient in ethanol extraction, wiped film and short path distillation, formulation across vape carts, edibles, tablets, tinctures, and oral solutions; METRC experience preferred; 21+ and background check required; compensation $80,000–$85,000 with relocation on case-by-case basis; benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401k, and EEO statements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field; advanced degree preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
