Job Summary
Transfer cooled caramel tubs weighing 50 lbs repeatedly to the production line, clean and sanitize equipment, and start/continue the line using established guidelines. Perform quality control checks on caramel squares for weight and uniformity while tracking inventory via the ERP system. Adhere strictly to GMP, Q&FS, and OSHA safety policies, maintaining a clean work area and wearing proper PPE. Work Sunday through Thursday, 10:00pm to 7:00am, with overtime as needed. This role supports Second Nature Brands' supply chain team at the Sanders Chocolate Factory in Clinton Township, MI.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Self-directed
- Ability to read and write English proficiently
- Ability to work well with peers and supervisors
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to keep production lines running efficiently
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work Sunday through Thursday, 10:00pm to 7:00am
- Ability to work weekday or weekend overtime as needed
- Standing for 8-10 hours
- Walking up and down stairs
