Job Summary
Oversight of the Virginia Department of Health Every Woman's Life program including patient navigation, data entry, and workflow development for breast and cervical cancer screening. Manage referrals, track patient eligibility, and schedule mammogram appointments with local radiology partners while coordinating mobile mammography logistics. Conduct team check-ins, analyze operational reports on enrollment and follow-up timeliness, and assist with data inquiries for funding agencies. Enter patient data accurately into Catalyst and electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA requirements and accurate grant expenditure tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English)
- Previous experience working with vulnerable communities, particularly the uninsured
- Experience with data management: creating, using and maintaining detailed Excel spreadsheets
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA medical privacy requirements

- Experience working in an EMR or database
- Familiarity with medical terms and technology
