Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates patient information such as lab results, radiology reports, history and physicals and physician orders in an efficient organized manner to facilitate safe and efficient workflow. Assists with procedures and patient preparation, including positioning, site prep, and medication/supply readiness. Performs patient assessments across physiological and psychosocial domains, safety, self-care, educational and discharge needs. Administers peri-procedural medications and sedation per hospital policy. Coordinates maintenance, transport, processing and cleaning of instrumentation and equipment. Supports daily clinic operations, ADC management, code cart checks and supply par levels. Contributes to department quality improvement activities and promotes continuum of care through shared governance and professional development. Requires ability to perform the professional, clinical, and technical competencies of the assigned unit and adapt responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree Nursing or higher
- Must complete BSN within five years of hire
- 1+ years RN experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Multistate - State Board of Nursing
- Must have current active multistate state RN license in good standing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Preferred Education: Bachelor Degree Nursing
