Job Summary
Conduct nutritional care for cancer patients in compliance with federal and state regulations, including patient assessment, care planning, and counseling on prescribed diets and feeding methods. Develop or obtain nutrition education materials, review monthly lab work to intervene as appropriate, and maintain current progress notes. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, patient care conferences, and the Cancer Committee while assisting in protocol development and performance improvement activities. Share information across the healthcare team and communicate with long-term care facilities, home care providers, and local nutritional programs.
Required Qualifications
- Registered dietitian", "Current state licensure", "Valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license", "Must be insurable under Firelands' auto policy
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer membership to the American Dietetic Association", "Prefer membership to a renal association i.e. CRN
