Job Summary
Cancer Care North of the Research Triangle, NC seeks a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist to join an employed team at Sovah Health. The role involves contributing to an established oncology program with on-site Hem/Onc, APPs, and Rad/Onc colleagues, participation in a bi-weekly tumor board and clinical trial programs, use of Aria Oncology information system, outpatient clinic volume (25-30 per day), and infusion services (10 chairs, 2 quick chairs). Inpatient treatment referrals are to larger academic centers in the region. The compensation package includes base salary with RVU production bonus, sign-on and relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, PTO, retirement plan, student loan repayment assistance, CME allowance and days, malpractice coverage, marketing and practice growth support, and CME opportunities. The hospital system is Lifepoint Health with Danville and Martinsville locations in southern Virginia. The role emphasizes patient care, collegial team collaboration, and community-focused cancer care with access to tertiary centers.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology-Oncology
- MD or DO degree
- VA medical licensure or eligible
- eligible for medical staff privileges at Sovah Health
- clinical experience in oncology/hematology including outpatient clinic and infusion services
