Job Summary
Vice President, Alternatives Distribution for Western Canada leading sales coverage for Canadian registered dealers, investment advisors, family offices, and private wealth platforms; responsible for driving adoption of alternative investment solutions across private credit, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge fund strategies; develop regional coverage plan to expand iCapital’s presence among advisors and dealer platforms; use a consultative sales approach to acquire new relationships, expand existing accounts, and provide exceptional ongoing client service; onboard advisor relationships onto iCapital’s platform to facilitate product access and adoption; represent iCapital at regional and national industry events, conferences, and advisor seminars; maintain a high level of professionalism and market presence as a senior external face of the Canadian distribution business.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of client facing experience in the Canadian investment industry
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Demonstrated success selling or supporting a diverse range of investment strategies
- Direct relationships with Canadian banks, independent dealers, family offices, and investment advisors within the target region
- CFA or CAIA certification or progress toward completion is preferred
- Meets the regulatory requirements to be registered as a Registered Individual (Exempt Market Dealer) CIM designation or CSC completion is preferred
- Outstanding relationship building, communication, and presentation skills
