Job Summary
Self Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada provides exceptional customer service in the self-service area, assists customers with processing transactions through self-checkout, educates customers on correct and efficient use of self-service options, keeps the area neat and safe, monitors for assistance needs, explains reasons for interventions or quality checks, responds to EAS alarms and logs, and coordinates with the Customer Service Manager when issues arise. Responsibilities include promoting sponsor programs when applicable, returning Scan & Go devices to their home position, and contributing to a positive shopping experience.
