Job Summary
Campus Technologist - Junior High: Responsible for performing advanced and routine computer and peripheral support functions within campus instructional areas. Responsibilities include assisting in the setup and maintenance of district computer hardware and software, relocating computers and peripherals, acting as a liaison between the district and Technology Department, maintaining inventory of district hardware and software, assisting with equipment procurement, and participating in staff development. Requires high school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred), two years of advanced technical support and two years of advanced operation of computer systems, and the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Demonstrates professionalism, ethical standards around students and staff, and reliability; capable of working in an office setting with occasional irregular hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Education Required)
- Associate degree in a related field (Education Preferred)
- Two years of advanced technical support functions (Experience Required)
- Two years of advanced operation of computer systems (Experience Required)
- Must pass qualifying exam (Experience Required)
- Advanced knowledge of computer functionality (Personal)
- Advanced knowledge of computer networking (Personal)
- In-depth knowledge of desktop computer application setup (Personal)
- Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (Personal)
