Job Summary
Operate and maintain all audio-video-lighting systems for regional campus services, including weekend engineer coverage, while organizing staging and technical items for ministry support. Collaborate with worship leaders to strategize service aesthetics and coordinate equipment for large special events like Easter illuminations and outdoor concerts. Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteers across multiple ministries, providing ongoing care and building relationships with central production staff. Oversee volunteer and technician scheduling, manage equipment rentals, and communicate technical needs from ministry leaders to ensure quality assistance during weekly services and events.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience running large format sound consoles
- Ability to interact well with pastors and church leaders
- Ability to determine what is needed to turn their creative ideas into technical reality
- Ability to be organized and effective in communication with volunteers and church staff
- Ability to recruit, train, build, and empower volunteer teams
- Ability to provide ongoing care and relationships with those involved within various ministries
- Ability to work weekend hours
- Ability to handle some potential heavy lifting
