Job Summary
Maintain a professional security presence throughout campus by conducting routine foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and grounds. Monitor access points, enforce policies, and respond to routine safety incidents while documenting daily activity in Belfry software. Observe and report suspicious activity, communicating effectively with supervisors, faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This part-time role includes first, second, and overnight shifts with weekends required. No prior experience is needed; training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Security, military, or law enforcement background is a plus, but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and dependable attendance
- Ability to walk long distances and remain on foot for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Completion of in-person orientation required
- Weekends Required
