Job Summary
Maintain a professional security presence throughout campus by conducting routine foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, and grounds. Monitor access points, enforce campus policies, and respond to routine safety incidents while observing and reporting suspicious activity. Document daily activity and incidents using Belfry software and communicate effectively with supervisors, faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This Full-Time 2nd Shift position (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) requires weekends and a valid driver's license. Training is provided for candidates with no prior security experience.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Security, military, or law enforcement background is a plus, but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and dependable attendance
- Ability to walk long distances and remain on foot for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Completion of in-person orientation required
- Weekends Required
