Campus Security Guard (2026-2027 School Year)

Campus Security Guard for the 2026-2027 school year at Victor Central School District. Responsibilities include routine patrol of the campus, monitoring district-wide security cameras, directing and routing traffic during school events and pickup/drop-off times, issuing summonses for violations, maintaining order at athletic events and gatherings, detaining suspicious persons if necessary pending police arrival, conducting regular checks of buildings to ensure locks, doors, and windows are secure, inspecting fire extinguishers, assisting visitors with passes, reporting emergencies, and preparing routine or detailed reports. Must have good knowledge of security practices, ability to follow directions, excellent interpersonal skills to work with students and staff, and the physical and mental readiness to respond effectively in emergencies. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and valid NYS operator’s license; 10-month position with a salary of $45,000 per year.
