Job Summary
Campus Safety Supervisor responsible for maintaining a safe learning and working environment by overseeing safety staff, enforcing campus rules, coordinating security measures for facilities, and facilitating required trainings. Duties include monitoring campus activities, communicating policy updates, escorting disruptive students when needed, supervising safety staff, participating in interviews and staff evaluations, managing access control and vehicle registrations, conducting fire drills and emergency drills, preparing monthly safety reports, conducting safety inspections, implementing emergency plans, coordinating with law enforcement and other agencies, maintaining incident logs and records, and supporting student mediation and conflict de-escalation. Ideal candidates will be adept at applying district safety standards, building a cohesive safety team, and ensuring confidential handling of safety-related information.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of five years of proven work experience in a safety and security related role or law enforcement
- Minimum of five years of proven work experience supervising others
- Experience developing and facilitating job family training and professional development
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- A valid Arizona State Driver's License is required
- First-Aid Certification and CPR certification at time of employment, or obtain within first 60 days of employment; maintain current status
- Active Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or obtain one within the first 90 workdays of employment
