Job Summary
Conduct two campus safety security roundings per shift, including vehicular patrols of all Duncaster properties, and document activity in current security software. Act as the first responder to emergencies and other facility problems, immediately reporting all-emergency situations to the On-Call manager and leadership. Perform scheduled routine preventative maintenance and initial repairs for resident and staff work orders, while executing security lock-down protocols for the entire facility as scheduled. Recognize when others need assistance and offer help with information or directions. Contribute to fluctuating department staffing needs through flexible assignment and schedule adherence. Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, policies, procedures, and annual mandatory in-services.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Class D driver's license with no major violations or restrictions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to handle emergency situations in an effective and calm manner
- General knowledge of security procedures and first aid
