Job Summary
Campus Safety Monitor patrols school premises and grounds to maintain order, enforce regulations, monitor movement of students, assist with information and emergency conditions, direct traffic and parking, supervise events, and report anomalies. The role involves assisting administrators, responding to incidents, coordinating with school staff and law enforcement, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Must hold a High School Diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, and meet district background checks; prior law enforcement experience and a valid driver’s license/CDL are preferred. This is a full-time 10-month position based on a school campus in Gilbert, AZ, with responsibilities including crowd and event control, incident reporting, and coordination during emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Certified in CPR and First Aid
- Minimum two years’ experience in law enforcement i.e., private, military or public sector preferred
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card
- Knowledge and experience with various security and fire protection systems, emergency procedures and tact in dealing with students, employees and the public
- Excellent health and physical condition
- Ability to pass background and reference checking as stipulated by District standards
- A valid driver's license and/or a CDL, if driving is required as part of your position description. The District shall be entitled to review your driving record periodically with the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles
