Job Summary
Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments while greeting customers to ensure a positive experience. Operate equipment and cash registers to maintain speed of service and accurate transactions. Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products, plus perform routine housekeeping including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, and trash removal. Assist store leaders in all facets of retail operations to ensure optimal performance. Temporary positions require availability for a weekly basis for 90 days or less with flexibility for opening, midday, or closing shifts. Candidates must be at least 16 years old with basic math and keyboarding skills.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age to be considered for employment.
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
- An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
- Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods.
- Temporary positions require availability to work on a weekly basis for a period of 90 days or less with occasional weekends, and flexibility in scheduling for opening, midday, or closing shifts.
- In accordance with individual campus requirements, positions may require confirmation of vaccination.
- The use of face masks throughout the day and while on campus may also be expected or required.
