Job Summary
Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments while greeting customers to ensure a positive experience. Support store operations by operating equipment and cash registers for speed and accuracy, then maintain the store environment through shelving, cleaning, dusting, mopping, and trash removal. Perform routine housekeeping including window cleaning and vacuuming while frequently moving between departments or remaining stationary as needed. Lift products occasionally and reach, stoop, or kneel during tasks. This temporary role requires weekly availability for up to 90 days with flexibility for opening, midday, or closing shifts, including occasional weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age to be considered for employment.
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
- An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
- Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods.
- Positions may require confirmation of vaccination.
- The use of face masks throughout the day and while on campus may also be expected or required.
