Job Summary
Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments while greeting customers to ensure a positive experience throughout their visit. Operate equipment and cash registers to maintain speed of service and accurate transactions, then keep the store fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space. Perform routine housekeeping tasks including dusting, mopping, window cleaning, and trash removal while moving frequently within the store to access various departments. Stand in a stationary position for extended periods and handle frequent lifting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders as needed. This seasonal role requires flexibility during peak periods such as semester starts and ends, occasional weekends, and throughout the academic year.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
- An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods
- Confirmation of vaccination
- The use of face masks throughout the day and while on campus
