Job Summary
Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments while greeting customers to ensure a positive experience. Operate equipment and cash registers to maintain speed of service, then keep the store fresh by shelving, arranging, and cleaning products. Prepare and serve hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes, and set up or restock displays by wrapping, labeling, and rotating items. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to sanitation standards and performing routine housekeeping tasks like dusting, mopping, and trash removal. Temporary positions require weekly availability for up to 90 days with flexibility for opening, midday, or closing shifts. Food handling or safety certification may be required in some locations.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age to be considered for employment.
- Previous food handling experience preferred.
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
- An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
- Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods.
- Temporary positions require availability to work on a weekly basis for a period of 90 days or less with occasional weekends, and flexibility in scheduling for opening, midday, or closing shifts.
- Food handling or safety certification may be required in some locations.
