Job Summary
Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments while greeting customers to ensure a positive experience. Operate equipment and cash registers to maintain speed of service, then keep the store fresh by shelving, arranging, and organizing products. Prepare and serve hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes, and set up displays by wrapping, labeling, and rotating items. Maintain a safe environment by following sanitation standards and performing routine housekeeping tasks like dusting, mopping, and trash removal. This seasonal role requires flexibility for peak periods during semester starts and ends, occasional weekends, and availability throughout the academic year.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment.
- Previous food handling experience preferred.
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
- An outstanding attitude with the willingness to learn and the capability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
- Flexible availability throughout the academic year including peak periods.
Desired Qualifications
- Food handling or safety certification may be required in some locations.
