The Campus Police Officer protects life and property through crime prevention and enforcement of Federal, State, and local laws, policies, and hospital regulations at Lindner Center of Hope. Responsibilities include patrolling by foot and vehicle, responding to alarms and dispatched calls, coordinating safety programs (loss prevention, parking/traffic control), inspecting facilities for hazards, investigating and documenting incidents, enforcing hospital rules, assisting in restraint situations, providing escort services to staff and visitors, performing routine security checks, operating security systems and access controls, executing background checks via WebCheck, and collaborating with local police departments. Qualifications emphasize a high school education or GED, OPOTA Peace Officer certification, hospital-security experience, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to cover shifts.
