Job Summary
Coordinate service projects and trips while planning and directing spirituality-based programs for students across diverse religious backgrounds. Provide pastoral care, encourage moral growth, and promote the University's Dominican and Catholic mission through events like Midnight Runs, retreats, and liturgical music ministry. Recruit, train, and supervise student leaders including retreat and music ministry chairs. Conduct outreach to support personal and spiritual development, manage program records and assessments, and collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners. Maintain weekly and Sunday Mass participation while representing Campus Ministries at university-wide events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Experience working in campus ministry or similar working with a student population
- Knowledge of the Dominican tradition
- Knowledge of the Catholic faith including liturgical traditions
- Experience with events and program planning
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment
