Job Summary
Build and maintain relationships between International Friendships, Inc. and The Ohio State University by communicating services to the campus and coordinating ministers to engage international students. Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships to cover budgeted needs, while researching community resources like transportation and digital platforms to foster goodwill. Work with campus offices to serve students, attend ministry meetings, and model effective teamwork with staff. Occasional evenings or weekends are required for events, and the role involves attending several conferences annually. The position is based in Columbus, OH, and is part of the Central Ohio ministry team.
Required Qualifications
- Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
- Is faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mission from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel
- Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently
- Be a self-starter, as well as a team player
- Ability to work under stress and be flexible
- Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses
- Requires the candidate to live in Columbus, OH
- The ideal candidate would live within walking distance of the OSU campus
