Job Summary
Campus Instructional Specialist delivers instructional coaching, curriculum support, and professional development to teachers to boost instructional effectiveness, student achievement, and alignment with district/state standards. Responsibilities include analyzing data, modeling best practices, helping staff design differentiated lessons and assessments, deconstructing TEKS to align instruction and assessment, developing formative/summative assessments, providing ongoing coaching, leading professional development sessions, and collaborating with campus/district personnel to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement. Must communicate clearly, integrate technology into planning and records, and maintain deep content knowledge across science and social studies; requires Texas teaching certification with endorsements and a Master’s degree (or in progress). In-person role based at C.E. King Middle School, Sheldon ISD, with district-wide activities and travel as needed.
