Job Summary
Campus HR Manager role responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements and government reporting, recruiting and selecting employees, conducting new-employee orientation, maintaining personnel transactions for government reporting, training management in HR processes, advising on employee relations, handling inquiries about policies, administering performance and salary programs, benefits administration, conducting exit interviews, and directing/supervising HR staff and unit performance. Requires 4+ years related experience, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel, and HR certification preferred (PHR/SPHR/GPHR). Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years related experience and/or training
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- PHR, SPHR or GPHR certified preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
