Job Summary
Part-time Campus Floater at SBSUM in the Greater Houston area. Provides teacher support, substitute teaching, and administrative support across SBSUM campuses. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson plans and instructional materials for classical Christian education, transitioning between duties smoothly, working with children of all ages, following school policies, integrating biblical principles, supporting faculty and staff, assisting with on-campus events and logistics (carline, lunch, recess), substitute teaching in early childhood through PK4-12th grades, preparing weekly assignments for satellite classroom time, and participating in professional activities. Requires a strong Christian testimony, a bachelor’s degree, knowledge of early childhood/elementary education, and a collaborative, growth-minded approach with strong communication and organizational skills. Ideal candidates may have three+ years of related experience and/or teacher certification; prior knowledge of Second Baptist Church and School is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Knowledge and experience in early childhood/elementary education
- Three or more years of related experience
- Teacher certification from a state agency or school accreditation agency (preferred)
