Job Summary
Organize young people in Pennsylvania and Michigan to register voters, recruit volunteers, and mobilize for elections across designated campuses and communities. Hit weekly field goals for voter registration, turnout, and event planning while recruiting and training local volunteer teams to execute get-out-the-vote efforts. Manage weekly reporting, coordinate with college administrations to increase civic participation, and host events on campus, in communities, and virtually. Work irregular hours including nights and weekends to meet defined metrics and oversee volunteer networks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Effective communicator in 1:1, group, or public environments
- Driven by a strong work ethic
- Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and manage several tasks simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to reliably/consistently commute to and from designated work sites
- Ability to reliably/consistently transport organizing materials, including (but not limited to) wagons, tables, and campaign materials to and from designated work sites
- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends
- Previous electoral organizing experience is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are a plus
