Job Summary
Talk with students one-on-one and in groups about the stakes of the 2026 election, including reproductive rights, climate change, democracy, and economic justice. Conduct high-traffic canvassing, door-to-door visits, and class organization meetings to engage students and recruit new supporters. Plan and execute educational events that empower peers to organize while recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers for campus mobilization. This paid fellowship runs from ASAP through the 2026 election, requiring 10-15 hours weekly of in-person work at Saint Ambrose University. Fellows must be enrolled at the university and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- Have a passion for civic engagement and inspiring young people to get involved
- Be excited to think outside the box and ideate on the most exciting and effective get-out-the-vote tactics
- Be eager to talk to as many students as possible, and be comfortable talking to a lot of strangers and potential volunteers
- Be scrappy and flexible, able to manage several tasks simultaneously
- Be a self-starter, exceptionally well-organized, and have strong time management skills
- Be enrolled at Saint Ambrose University
