Campus Event Coordinator - Riverside

Job Summary
Campus Event Coordinator plans, coordinates, and executes campus ministry events from concept to completion, overseeing logistics such as setup, supplies, signage, teardown, registration, volunteer coordination, budgets, and expense tracking. Works with ministry leads and various teams to translate event goals into actionable plans, provides hands-on in-person support during events, and travels regularly between multiple campus locations to support events and ministry activities. Requires strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills, leadership to manage volunteers, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools, and the ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment. This role participates in weekly staff meetings and supports the Director of Events in implementing systems, timelines, and checklists for excellent event execution.
Required Qualifications

- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture
- Possess strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrate leadership ability to manage volunteers and coordinate multiple moving parts under pressure
- Show proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and event management tools
- Maintain flexibility and a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Be self-directed, dependable, and able to follow through on complex projects
- Two or more years of experience in event coordination, project management, or ministry support preferred
- Ability to travel regularly between multiple campus locations to support events, meetings, and ministry activities
