Job Summary
Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, procedures, and scripts to handle complex data sets. Design and implement Python scripts and applications to automate tasks, process data, and support business needs. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Analyze and troubleshoot issues in code to ensure optimal performance and support data integration and ETL processes. Ensure data integrity and quality in all processes while applying industry best practices and emerging technologies. Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of SQL (e.g., writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions)
- Proficiency in Python programming (including libraries like pandas, NumPy, and others)
- Understanding of database concepts, relational databases, and data modelling
- Ability to analyse problems and design efficient solutions
- Strong logical thinking and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with basic data visualization techniques and libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn) is a plus
