Job Summary

Conduct crisis intervention, case management, advocacy, and follow-up services for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking across local college campuses. Collaborate with police, district attorneys, and community agencies to serve student and staff survivors. Develop and implement data-driven prevention education curricula and social media content to promote social norms and build capacity for community safety. This full-time role includes some evening and/or weekend hours, as needed, along with required on-call responsibilities. Based onsite at Crisis Services in Buffalo, NY, with co-location at local college campuses and potential hybrid remote options.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree from an accredited college and/or university in human service field, public health, social work or education
  • A minimum of 6 months' relevant work experience preferably providing direct services in domestic/sexual violence response and/or prevention work
  • Valid NYS driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Access to reliable automobile
  • Some evening and/or weekend hours, as needed
  • Required on-call responsibilities

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in public speaking, community education, or training facilitation
  • Ability to work with and mobilize a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience in higher education
  • Experience relating to and engaging with diverse populations in a variety of settings
