Job Summary
Coordinate the district's Section 504 program for the campus, supporting students, parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators in identifying, evaluating, and developing individualized plans. Ensure compliance with House Bill 1416 and align MTSS to address academic and behavioral needs. Write and monitor 504 plans, collaborate with campus teams and outside agencies, promote communication about disability-related services, and facilitate MTSS implementation and 504-related policy adherence. Maintain data reporting (PEIMS), provide professional development and consultation, and foster partnerships to support at-risk students and overall campus success.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with 504 planning or MTSS (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher (preferred)
