Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and provide friendly assistance, handling merchandise with care while demonstrating products and answering questions. Replenish shelves per merchandising guidelines, restock as required, and assist with seasonal floor moves. Maintain pricing accuracy, manage advertised sales, and keep the work area clean and well-stocked. Identify customer needs to make product recommendations, promote programs like CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up, and operate the Point of Sale register. Perform duties under general supervision while adhering to all company policies. Enjoy discounts on retail merchandise, restaurants, and resorts, plus paid holidays and vacation.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Must be able to lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)
- Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds constantly
- Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more
- Must be able to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
- Must be able to occasionally work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to occasionally work in noisy environments
- Must be able to occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools
- Must be able to occasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
- Must be able to constantly stand and/or walk during shift
