Campaign Organizer- Clinton, Iowa

Campaign Organizers recruit and train volunteers, canvass, gather petitions, and coordinate events to drive base-building in key Iowa counties. They engage constituents on issues including corporate accountability, health care, big ag, affordability, and action opportunities, and they start by building a team of supporters and volunteers for canvassing and petitions. Responsibilities include organizing grassroots trainings, maintaining volunteer lists, representing the campaign in community spaces, generating petitions and actions, voter registrations, ensuring compliance with VR laws, coordinating high-visibility events around climate, jobs, and justice, and managing digital campaigns and data tools (e.g., VAN, Action Network, ThruText, EveryAction, social platforms). The role requires public speaking, relationship-building, equity and inclusion, effective communication, weekend/evening availability, and the ability to plan and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
