Job Summary
Campaign Development Manager for a temporary, 3-month assignment in Tampa, FL, responsible for building relationships with fundraising volunteers and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising products to exceed revenue goals within a designated market area. Duties include organizing mission-centered donor cultivation events, recruiting fundraising volunteers, developing and executing a strategic plan for fundraising products, collaborating with mission teams and shared service partners, and driving high-impact fundraising programs while ensuring alignment with Blood Cancer United’s mission to Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. Requires collaboration across education, services and health research departments, strong stakeholder engagement, digital and social media proficiency, event management, and effective communication. The role is non-exempt and hourly, with some evenings or weekends and travel within the designated area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of experience
- Able to supervise groups of volunteers
- Knowledge of digital, social media & emerging online channels
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of MS Office Suite
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
