Job Summary
Seasonal Camp Lifeguard ensures water safety for campers of all abilities, monitors pool activities, enforces safety rules, and responds to emergencies. Provides support to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities to enable inclusive participation, maintains pool areas, collaborates with counselors and program leaders, and participates in trainings and team meetings. Strong swimming ability, rescue skills, and vigilance are essential; certifications in Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid are required. Bonus points for prior experience with individuals with disabilities or camp/aquatic environments.
Required Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert
