Job Summary
Conduct scheduled and preventative maintenance on swimming pools, pumps, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and asphalt/masonry. Perform daily checks on sewage plant operation and assist with special capital projects, renovations, and remodeling. Manage camp vehicle services and record keeping while maintaining grounds through grass cutting, tree trimming, brush cleaning, and trash pickup. Execute general housekeeping functions including facility setup, floor cleaning, restroom upkeep, and supply maintenance. Monitor equipment and supplies, follow chemical safety procedures, and adhere to all safety guidelines. Communicate concerns, needed repairs, or incidents to the direct supervisor and submit suggestions for facility improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen
- Three (3) years or more of related building and grounds maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
- Insurable driver's record according to the YMCA's insurance carriers
- Reliable transportation to travel for business meetings, training events, YMCA site visits, vendors, and suppliers
