Job Summary
Assist in implementing program standards for various camps while maintaining a comfortable, safe environment for participants. Responsibilities include supervising children during activities such as sports, swimming, arts, and crafts; managing enrollments; communicating with parents; administering First Aid and CPR; maintaining cleanliness of facilities; providing transportation; and mentoring Camp Aides and volunteers. Candidates must be dependable, have at least 3 months of experience working with children, and hold certifications or be able to obtain them upon hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current CPR, First Aid, Standard Precautions, and Medication Administration Certifications
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within thirty (30) days of employment
- Must provide all documentation as required by the State of Colorado Child Care Licensing Division upon hire
- Completion of a criminal background check including Colorado Bureau of Investigations and TRAILS/Central Registry criminal record review
Additional Requirements
- Must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check as required by the Colorado Department of Social Services prior to commencing employment
