Job Summary
Live-in seasonal camp counselor providing direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at The Arc Gloucester's Camp Sun 'N Fun; assist with ADLs, transport and accompany outings, administer medications if assigned, document activities, maintain safety, participate in trainings, and support activities across cabin groups.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must possess a high school diploma/GED
- At least one (1) year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred
- Proficient in basic computer, math, reading comprehension and verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain active CPR/First Aide certification
- Successfully pass initial and ongoing State/Federal Criminal Background checks, including Fingerprinting, CARI checks, Central Registry checks and drug screens
- Camp experience preferred
